Juggling in between editing his Hollywood film and planning for his upcoming stage musical, a workaholic choreographer and director, Joe Gideon, finds himself drowning in his pills and his endless line of women to sleep with. He ends up being under too much physical and mental stress to the point that an Angel of Death named Angelique continues to appear in his imagination that his ex-wife, Audrey, girlfriend, Kate, and daughter, Michelle, work hand in hand in order to pull him back. But soon he must decide if his workaholic lifestyle is worth risking everything including his own life. He looks back at his life as he heads for his inevitable departure.
